Surprisingly heavy guitar. Very versatile as it can run three outputs : Seymore Duncan Pickups, Piezo pickups and Synth Guitar output. This is the first guitar I have bought over the internet. I was trying to chase one of these down in the UK - a couple of retailers were advertising them even though there were none available in the entire UK. No one was particularly interested in getting a custom order for me so I started looking for one on the web. It turned out to be the right thing to do. I bought it from a place in the US and the total price including shipping and import duty was 30% less than the best price I could retail locally. Free advice for UK residents. If you want to buy a US manufactured guitar (including Gretsch) worth more than 1000 or so quid, the money you save by buying it in the US will pay for your trip. Mail order is also worth a look. I also got an Axon guitar synth the acquiring of which was a complete pain involving 4 people in three countries.
